Komárno and its surroundings from the water
The Pluto excursion boat offers a different view of Komárno and the river landscape. The original guide lists boarding beside the St. Borbála restaurant boat on the Váh riverfront and the option of pre-arranged group cruises.
The boat was built in 1984 at the Horány shipyard in Hungary under the name Szilas. It later served as a ferry between Štúrovo and Esztergom; following a change of use and renovation, its story became linked with Komárno.
