A wooden mill on the Little Danube
The stilt-supported watermill in Jelka stands on the left bank of the Little Danube and is notable for its three-storey wooden structure. The original guide dates its earliest written mention to 1894 and the building's restoration to 1992.
The setting combines industrial heritage with a riverside landscape. A nearby campsite for paddlers and places to eat make the mill a possible stop on a trip by car, bicycle or water.
